Our universal ventilated dry ridge system is a high-quality and cost-effective dry fix system, providing ridge level ventilation for any pitched roof.

The dry ridge set provides everything required for a 6m length of ridge or hip.

What are the key qualities of universal ventilated dry ridge?

The dry-fix, mortarless system is a quick and cost-effective way to ventilate the ridge level of any roof and can be easily fitted in most weather conditions. This mechanically fitted system securely fixes the ridge tiles onto a roof, protecting them from wind up-lift and rain penetration.

The ridge roll is manufactured with extra butyl ensuring a quality water seal, the super strength nylon ‘ratchet’ clips give superior strength and durability, and the stainless steel fixing packs guarantee long term durability. This dry ridge roofing option provides a minimum ventilated area of 5,000mm per linear metre and is suitable for ventilating flat tiles.

What are the main applications of universal ventilated dry ridge?

In terms of the key applications for our ventilated roofing, the system provides 5,000mm²/m ventilation to the roof void through the vent roll, the equivalent to a continuous 5mm gap. This dry ridge roofing system can be used with a range of half round, angle and third round ridges, when using it on the hip line of a roof, when applied with hip support trays & hip clips.

The dry fixing method offers considerable advantages, not only in the speed of installation, but also in long-term economy and safety. There is no need for mortar, making the job of fixing the ridge quick, easy and clean, as well as making it possible during frosts and other adverse weather conditions.
